Tyler P. Media is a rediscovery of Tyler’s love for photography after working desk jobs for the last decade. Fortunate to have grown up on the road with the family camera always within reach, Tyler borrowed an old DSLR from his father and began to re-learn photography at car enthusiast events to scratch the automotive itch without funnelling money into his "fun car".
Initially unaware he had traded one expensive hobby for another; Tyler returned to Canberra's local music scene. With the dissolving of his former band and the closure of several local music venues, the camera was the perfect excuse to get back out to watch live music.

The support and opportunities provided by friends working within Canberra music scene, as well as partnerships with MazdACT and Rocky Hill Musical Theatre Company, have enabled Tyler to hone his skills with a focus on working in challenging lighting conditions with dynamic subjects.
With origins in graphic design studies and the completion of a Diploma of Visual Arts with a focus on painting, Tyler prioritises colour and perspective when shooting. He also draws from a love of video stoked by action sports films of the 2000's. Pairing this approach with his proven ability to work in dynamic and challenging conditions, He strives to get the shot - whether it’s a race car flying around a track under the blazing midday sun or an internationally touring band throwing sweat under red lights in a dark room.
When he’s not behind the lens, Tyler lives in Canberra with his young son, a fellow creative partner and his two cheeky dogs.
